Dispensing Opticians Association of India is organization formed in 2020, representing the Dispensing Opticians as its members. The Association is supported by ISDT, Nashik with strong base of 12000 plus members across India, probably making it the largest representative body of Dispensing opticians pan India. This is not a typical/ conventional optical Association. The Association focuses on assisting its members in educational, technical, business management and regulatory issues, representing them strongly wherever required, providing support in form of consultation, suggestions and advise when required.DOAI was established with the aim of supporting all Indian Dispensing opticians and to Implement scientific knowledge for the growth and progress of their businessThe Association aim to keep updated dispensing optician with new technology and new upgraded things. Also, Association keeps close eye on a relationship between financial crises and business growth. Association always looking forward to increase optician’s knowledge about upcoming rules and regulations and provides them support every time about legal issues and various problems regarding education and business growth. DOAI is backbone of dispensing opticians in solving their legal problems and various upcoming changes in rules and regulations in optical field. Right now, all dispensing Opticians are unorganized and they are un-aware of problems which they will face in coming future due to their lack of education in this field and in this case DOAI will provide all type of guidance to Dispensing Opticians to overcome this change. This is the Association of dispensing optician for the betterment of dispensing optician.
